This season, we’re all about rich colors, classic patterns and some fun, unexpected touches. We’ve designed our latest bags and accessories to be versatile enough to be part of your every day life, whether you’re going to the gym, enjoying a girls’ night out, or heading out on an impromptu road trip. That was the inspiration behind our Summer 2013 campaign, shot by photographer Sean Desmond.

We rented a car, loaded up a few WILL bags and brought some friends out to Malibu for a weekend of R&R (and well, a little bit of work too). Since WILL is a family-owned company, we decided to keep the photoshoot in the family, using Will’s daughter Shane as our model. Maybe it’s her acting background or maybe it’s the scenery (or maybe she’s just amazingly photogenic), but Shane looks absolutely stunning in the photos. Don’t believe us? “Eva” Vintage Lock Clutch

They say “less is more,” and nowhere does that statement ring truer than when it comes to your accessories. When it comes to finding that perfect bag, you want something with a “wow” factor, but not something that looks like you just ripped off the pages of US Weekly.

Allow us to introduce you to our “Eva” Clutch. Part of our “Vintage Lock Collection,” the bag was inspired by lock bags from the 1920s, used by doctors, nurses and businessmen to carry their files and belongings. Our updated version transforms the work bag into a luxurious leather clutch, using an Italian Florentine molding process to form an elegant, understated silhouette, backed by natural, vegetable-tanned leather. We combine this with welt sole construction (normally reserved for luxury dress shoes and boots), reinforced stitching and a vintage-replica brass lock as a clasp.

Inside, there are two compartments, with enough room to carry your wallet, make-up, cell phone, and favorite perfume. As one of our customers recently put it, this bag “goes from day to date-ready” in a cinch!

From the Adler family to yours, we’d like to wish all the dads (and grand-dads) out there a very Happy Father’s Day! Will may be the creative director of this company, but he’s first and foremost a father to his three kids: Luke, Brent and Shane.

While Luke and his wife run a successful holistic healthcare practice in Oregon, Brent assists his father with the day-to-day sales and operations of the company, and Shane helps to run our flagship store in Venice. As for Will? On any given week, he could be traveling to Eugene, Venice, New York, Mexico, or Japan, meeting with retailers and sourcing materials for his next big idea. So you can imagine what a happy occasion it was when the whole family was able to get together last weekend to celebrate a friend’s wedding in California.

It’s important for Will to keep this as a family-own company, making sure that we take the same care and attention to our products as we do with our sons and daughters. It’s even part of our motto: “Cultivated by family, to be passed down for generations…”

T Magazine had a great feature on Japanese men’s magazines this week and we are lucky enough to be featured in one of their top picks: Free & Easy.

We love Free & Easy – a great menswear magazine based out of Tokyo (fun fact: our founder Will collects back issues of Free & Easy for inspiration). Launched in 1998, the magazine is like a bible for vintage Americana, workwear and fine menswear, with a preppy twist.

This month, Free & Easy dedicates an entire page to WILL, highlighting three of our most popular tote bags: our Signature Utility Tote, Bandana Carry All, and our Weaver’s House Reversible Tote. They also share the story of our Oregonian roots, highlighting us as one of the best brands “Born in the USA.” Check out the photos and feature below:
