To carry confidential documents – whether they were flight plans for naval pilots; top secret documents from a government agent; or a doctor’s sensitive medical records – the bags of yesteryear-needed locks. Besides being able to securely lock, these bags had to be highly organized with several compartments to keep key documents separate, identification cards easily available, and a pen for an official signature.
